Internships with us

Throughout the course of the year we often take on ‘guest staff’ for non-teaching positions

The only requirement is that you have just taken a week-long cooking and wine class the week before, so in effect, that you, ‘stay on’, an additional week.

Your ‘training’, is that you were just recently on the receiving end of what we do as a Cooking School in Italy. We also have a handbook of your tasks!

Each day, you’ll be doing the following along with the local staff:

  • Help set the table for lunch and dinner
  • Help set up the kitchen before cooking lessons
  • Help polish stemware (especially before and after our wine classes)
  • Load and unload the cooking school’s two dishwashers
  • Unload and shelf wine and water with the owner
  • Walk Ciccia when our owner is busy teaching food and wine classes

The position is unpaid but does include meals and wine. Those that have interned in the past say that it’s a great way to get to know the city and region on a deeper level, actually working in Italy rather than time as a tourist.

Those interested should mention interest when booking your week-long class.

It’s first come, first served and we take on only one person per week.
