How to choose which cooking course or courses is right for you?
About half of those that come to us any given year simply choose their course by the date: they book the course that happens to be held when they have the time off. If that is you, there is no reason to continue reading. Write us. We’d love to have you with us.
For everyone else, open a bottle of wine, put on some light music and spend a little time with our website.
Assuming you can come anytime of year you like, we have 14 different cooking courses on offer. Each different from one another, some slightly, some radical departures.
- If you’ve always wanted to learn how to can, come to our summer courses where we put up the summer’s bounty. Your week will be a week of making pasta, cooking, learning about wine but we’ll also work in a few canning projects, preserving with heat, sugar, alcohol, vinegar or dehydration.
- Wonder if your dietary choices can make you live longer and better- they can- consider, How to Eat and Drink to be 100. We focus on what to eat and drink more of, rather than what to avoid. Consider it an investment in your most valuable asset.
- Want to eBike to a different winery each day, learning more about wine than you ever thought possible in a week? Come to one of our bicycle courses. We’ll create a huge feast each evening from scratch, featuring the wines we learned about in the vineyards that day.
- Curious why Italy is so linked to the (non-indigenous) tomato? Come the week we make and bottle the annual tomato sauce. Your face will hurt from laughing and you’ll make great new friends from all over the world, all of them semi-permanently dyed red.
- If coming to a week-long class be certain to also book our optional Sunday night wine class, which starts off your week-long experience through a macro view of Southern Italy, through Southern Italian wine. Plus a massive southern Italian feast to pair with the wines.
Each course also has its own FAQ. Should you have any questions beyond that please write us. We’d love to hear from you!
